One-to-one Gmail follow-up sequences

Track reminder steps, response status and owner tasks for eligible Gmail conversations.

PRODUCT VIEW

See how it works.

Hubz Sequences brings follow-up on single-recipient Gmail conversations together with sales opportunities and follow-up work. When preparing a new one-to-one email, choose whether no follow-up is needed, a reply is expected or an action must be completed. Each follow-up record is associated with the original subject and recipient; writing to the same person about another matter is a separate conversation. The screen also makes follow-up rules, related open tasks and recent execution records visible.

FROM NEED TO OUTCOME

Where this helps.

While waiting for a customer’s reply, emails to the same person on different subjects can become confused. Receiving a reply and completing the requested action are not always the same outcome.

WHAT YOU CAN WORK TOWARDS

Keep each conversation’s expectation explicit. Use a workflow where replies stop reminders while actions that still need completion remain for the responsible person to assess.

IN EVERYDAY WORK

What it looks like in practice.

Sales representative

Waiting for feedback on a quote versus waiting for a customer to complete an approval.

Each conversation retains its own expectation, and a reply signal is not automatically treated as completion of the actual work.

Scenarios are illustrative; they are not customer testimonials or measured performance claims.

KNOW WHAT IS INCLUDED

Available on Professional and Business, subject to workspace permissions and the required provider connections. Sending capacity and provider fees are separate from the subscription.

  • A Gmail connection and eligible single-recipient conversation are required; this is not a general multichannel campaign tool.
  • The current workflow checks the original Gmail conversation before the first follow-up and during sending.
  • The final manual email is sent after user review; task-based follow-up may require explicit completion confirmation.

YOUR QUESTIONS

About this feature.

01Does a reply mean all work is complete?

A reply ends a reply-expected follow-up. In an action-expected workflow, a reply may stop reminders while task completion still requires separate confirmation.

02Can I create WhatsApp or SMS sequences too?

This feature is for eligible Gmail conversations and is not offered as a general WhatsApp/SMS journey.
