Email Settings / Identity, limits and communication preferences

Email settings: senders, schedules and preferences

Manage sender identity, delivery windows, workspace rules and unsubscribe records.

PRODUCT VIEW

See how it works.

Email settings define the operating rules behind a campaign. Authorized Hubz administrators assess sender identity, sending limits, time windows and eligibility defaults using delivery options enabled on the server. Communication preferences have a separate area for global unsubscribes, suppressions and contact-level category choices. Applying these records during campaign preparation helps the team treat the same recipient consistently.

FROM NEED TO OUTCOME

Where this helps.

Different sender identities in each campaign, delivery at unsuitable times or adding an unwilling recipient back to a list can harm both operations and customer relationships.

WHAT YOU CAN WORK TOWARDS

Manage the workspace’s email policy in one place. Keep recipient preferences independent of campaign records, and recognize that creating a new list does not erase earlier choices.

STEP BY STEP

How to use it.

  1. 01

    Define sending rules.

With an authorized user, review available provider options, identity and workspace-appropriate sending limits.

  2. 02

    Manage preferences.

Check global suppressions, unsubscribe records and contact-level category preferences in their dedicated area.

  3. 03

    Verify the campaign result.

Review which addresses are excluded by the rules and check the sending plan against the remaining eligible recipients.

IN EVERYDAY WORK

What it looks like in practice.

Workspace administrator

Ensuring new campaigns use a consistent sender identity and respect communication preferences.

Sender and timing rules are managed together, and recipient preferences are reassessed for every new campaign.

Scenarios are illustrative; they are not customer testimonials or measured performance claims.

KNOW WHAT IS INCLUDED

Plans, permissions and limits.

Available on Professional and Business, subject to workspace permissions and the required provider connections. Sending capacity and provider fees are separate from the subscription.

  • Changing settings requires administrator permission.
  • A delivery option such as SMTP cannot become ready through a screen setting alone if it is not enabled on the server.
  • Preference records and technical suppressions do not replace an assessment of legal communication consent.

YOUR QUESTIONS

About this feature.

01Does recreating a list reset an unsubscribe?

No. Global suppressions and preferences are assessed separately from the campaign list. Membership alone does not grant sending rights.

02Can every user change sending settings?

No. Changing workspace delivery settings requires the relevant administrator permission.
