Three CRM record types
See contacts, companies and opportunities with type indicators, distinguishing similarly named records by context.
Navigation / Record search and keyboard access
Search contact, company and opportunity results within your existing permissions, then open the relevant record.
PRODUCT VIEW
Global search helps the team find a CRM record without opening the right module list first. Find existing matches through names, supported contact details, company names or domains, and opportunity titles. Results are identified as contacts, companies or opportunities and lead to the relevant record. Search respects workspace context and enabled-module permissions; a search box does not unlock disabled modules.
FROM NEED TO OUTCOME
During a customer call, finding the right menu before searching its list can split a simple lookup into unnecessary steps.
Start with the information you remember, identify the result type and open the appropriate contact, company or opportunity details.
STEP BY STEP
Use the top search field or supported keyboard shortcut. On narrow screens, the available mobile search view opens.
Search with at least two characters using a person's name or contact details, a company name or domain, or an opportunity title.
Read the result type and secondary information, then select it by keyboard or pointer. Reassess the query when an empty or error state appears.
INSIDE THE MODULE
See contacts, companies and opportunities with type indicators, distinguishing similarly named records by context.
Use Command/Ctrl+K to reach search in a suitable desktop or mobile view, then use the available result-selection tools.
Results are limited to the relevant organization and enabled modules. Search does not bypass ordinary module access rules.
See a short suggestion list within each type's current result limit. It is not an export or complete count of organization data.
IN EVERYDAY WORK
Find the contact result and prepare from the actual record history.
Scenarios are illustrative; they are not customer testimonials or measured performance claims.
KNOW WHAT IS INCLUDED
Search works with contacts, companies and opportunities the user is authorized to access. Result scope depends on enabled modules.
YOUR QUESTIONS
No. Search checks module rights and workspace context. The record detail's own access conditions also apply.
Search requires at least two meaningful characters. A shorter query, loading or an error state is distinct from finding no matches.
