Task-linked file
Associate an attachment with its work record instead of leaving it as an independent folder link.
Task attachments / Upload and storage rules
Link task attachments to work records through configured Google Drive storage, with visible file-size and daily upload limits.
PRODUCT VIEW
A file needed to complete a task can be hard for the team to find when it remains in a separate chat or personal folder. Hubz task attachments organize uploaded files with the task through server-configured Google Drive storage. File name, type, size and task relationship are parts of the operation. Storage readiness and per-file and daily upload limits can be assessed in the relevant status view. This is not a general file browser opening the user’s entire Drive account to Hubz.
FROM NEED TO OUTCOME
When a task loses its file association, the correct document or reason for upload failure may become unclear. Treating Google mail permission as task-storage permission also misrepresents the setup.
Associate files with the work they support and understand upload rules. Track attachments through the organization’s prepared storage service while keeping that scope distinct from mail connection and general Drive access.
STEP BY STEP
Check that the task-file service is configured and review current file-size and daily upload limits.
Upload an eligible file with the relevant task, assessing its name, type and size before the operation.
Review upload or synchronization results and check that the file remains associated with the correct work and workspace.
INSIDE THE MODULE
Associate an attachment with its work record instead of leaving it as an independent folder link.
See the current setup and availability of the Google Drive task-file service.
Consider technical limits such as the permitted file size during upload.
Assess workspace daily-upload rules separately from a quota on all stored data.
Inspect upload results and relevant status rather than silently treating a failed operation as complete.
IN EVERYDAY WORK
The file is uploaded with the task, and the team tracks the relevant attachment and upload result through the same work record.
Scenarios are illustrative; they are not customer testimonials or measured performance claims.
KNOW WHAT IS INCLUDED
Task attachments require relevant task access and verified workspace storage setup. The integration-management screen is included in Professional and Business. File rules are explained during activation; no general GB storage allowance is promised.
YOUR QUESTIONS
No. Storage configuration for task attachments is separate from the mail connection, and setup readiness is verified independently.
Neither unlimited capacity nor an unverified total GB quota is promised. Current file and daily-upload rules are explained during setup.
