Meta / Facebook Pages and publishing targets

Facebook Page publishing: images, photo posts and Reels

Manage supported single-image, multi-photo and Reel workflows with Page permissions, content revisions and individual target results.

PRODUCT VIEW

See how it works.

Prepare and publish supported Facebook Page posts through Social Studio. Publishing targets are authorized Pages rather than personal profiles. The existing publishing implementation handles single images, multi-photo Page posts and Reel videos as separate workflows; the prepared media format and approved content revision are associated with the target record. The preview helps you understand which account the post is being prepared for. Once delivery to the provider begins, the publishing ID and target status let you assess the actual result rather than relying on the scheduled time alone.

FROM NEED TO OUTCOME

Where this helps.

Trying to send the same copy and file to every network in the same format can create incorrect media expectations. When a post has several targets, treating the Facebook Page result as the status of the entire campaign is also misleading.

WHAT YOU CAN WORK TOWARDS

Choose the correct Page and a supported media format. Move reviewed content to the appropriate scheduling or publishing step, and track the Page target separately from the other accounts.

STEP BY STEP

How to use it.

  1. 01

    Verify the Page and format.

Check the authorized Facebook Page, user role and preparation of a single image, multiple photos or a Reel.

  2. 02

    Review the content version.

Review the caption, media order and current approval status; reassess content that has changed.

  3. 03

    Check the target result.

After the publishing or scheduling decision, inspect the Facebook target status and provider publishing record.

IN EVERYDAY WORK

What it looks like in practice.

Brand content team

Preparing an announcement as a multi-photo Facebook Page post.

The team reviews image order, caption and Page selection, then tracks the approved version’s result for that target.

Scenarios are illustrative; they are not customer testimonials or measured performance claims.

KNOW WHAT IS INCLUDED

Plans, permissions and limits.

Professional includes 5 connected social accounts per workspace; Business includes 12. Each account still needs the correct user role, provider permissions and format checks.

  • Page access, the required Meta permissions and role conditions must be satisfied.
  • This scope is not a general publishing promise for personal profiles, Stories or every video format.
  • If the provider result is uncertain, assess any new submission against the existing record and result-checking step.

YOUR QUESTIONS

About this feature.

01Which Facebook formats are supported by the current implementation?

The existing workflow handles single-image posts, multi-photo Page posts and Reels as separate operations. Account and file eligibility are checked separately.

02Does appearing in the calendar mean publishing is complete?

No. A scheduling record and the provider’s publishing result are different; inspect the status of the specific account target.
