Social Studio / Content workspace

Social content planning, drafts and review

Track the content lifecycle with brand-linked drafts, media, account targets and review steps.

PRODUCT VIEW

See how it works.

In Social Studio, a post is more than caption text. Its brand, target accounts, media files, content revision and review status are handled together. During preparation, the team assesses supported image or video items, cover selection and provider previews. Internal review and a customer-facing review link produce separate decision records. Knowing which revision was reviewed prevents an old approval from being carried over to new copy after the content changes.

FROM NEED TO OUTCOME

Where this helps.

An image in one file, copy in a chat and approval in a separate message make it unclear which version is ready to publish. Provider-specific requirements can also be missed when several accounts are targeted.

WHAT YOU CAN WORK TOWARDS

Review content with its own brand and current revision. Keep preparation, internal approval, customer feedback and publishing visible so the team works on the same version.

STEP BY STEP

How to use it.

  1. 01

Prepare the draft in brand context.

Select title, caption, target accounts and supported media, and assess them alongside brand rules.

  2. 02

    Review the current version.

Use internal review status and, where needed, a customer review link; reassess the revision created by a change request.

  3. 03

    Make a separate publishing decision.

With appropriate permissions and provider conditions, move the approved version to immediate publication or scheduling and track every target result.

What it looks like in practice.

Content team

Reviewing copy and image revisions for a product announcement with the brand owner.

The current version is reviewed; after customer feedback and internal approval are visible, an authorized person handles publication.

Scenarios are illustrative; they are not customer testimonials or measured performance claims.

YOUR QUESTIONS

About this feature.

01Does saving a draft publish the post?

No. Preparation, review and publication are separate steps requiring approval of the relevant version and appropriate publishing access.

02What if the customer approved an older version?

The review decision belongs to a specific revision. When content changes, the current version’s review status must be reassessed.
