Social Studio / Accounts and provider permissions

Connect social accounts and manage permissions

Review connected accounts, providers and permission status, recognizing that publishing, comments and reporting differ across networks.

PRODUCT VIEW

See how it works.

Connect the right social account and check which actions its permissions allow. In each provider’s connection workflow, Hubz assesses account or channel selection and authorization separately. General Facebook and Instagram publishing is different from YouTube channel reading, separately authorized uploads or Analytics. Threads, Pinterest and other connections also have their own permission and technical-readiness requirements. An account appearing in the list does not mean every capability is enabled.

FROM NEED TO OUTCOME

Where this helps.

Publishing, comment-reading or reporting permission may be missing even when an account is connected. Presenting different providers through one universal feature list creates incorrect team expectations.

WHAT YOU CAN WORK TOWARDS

Know which workspace owns the account, which provider permissions exist and what setup step comes next. Build the content plan around workflows that are actually authorized.

STEP BY STEP

How to use it.

  1. 01

    Choose the correct provider.

Open the network’s connection workflow and identify the relevant account or channel with an authorized person.

  2. 02

    Review permissions separately.

Check which reading, publishing, comment or analytics scopes have been granted and which steps are missing.

  3. 03

Bring the account into the workflow.

Use the connection with the relevant brand and content target; reassess status when provider conditions or permissions change.

Account capacity

Treat Professional’s 5 and Business’s 12 accounts as workspace totals across all connected providers.

IN EVERYDAY WORK

What it looks like in practice.

Brand manager

Connecting a brand’s Instagram account and YouTube channel.

The correct account is selected for each provider; publishing and reporting permissions are reviewed separately to establish suitable workflows.

Scenarios are illustrative; they are not customer testimonials or measured performance claims.

KNOW WHAT IS INCLUDED

Plans, permissions and limits.

Professional includes 5 connected social accounts per workspace; Business includes 12. Available tools and actions depend on your role, account type and provider permissions.

  • The current TikTok Sandbox scope is not offered as general customer publishing, scheduling or analytics.
  • A connection does not automatically complete provider application review or account-eligibility requirements.
  • Supported content formats and actions differ between networks.

YOUR QUESTIONS

About this feature.

01Why might some actions remain unavailable on a connected account?

Account type, user role, provider permission and application-review status determine permitted actions.

02Does connecting YouTube also grant Gmail access?

No. YouTube channel permissions are assessed separately from Google Workspace mail and calendar connections.
