Views
Inspect provider-returned views for the selected channel and date range at daily and period levels.
YouTube / Period-based channel metrics
Read daily and period-level views, estimated minutes watched and average view duration for the selected channel and dates.
PRODUCT VIEW
YouTube Analytics requires a read-only permission separate from the basic channel connection and video upload access. The user reviews exactly which connected channel is receiving that access. For the selected start and end dates, the report shows the provider’s daily and period-level views, estimated minutes watched and average view duration. Measurement time, the last returned data day and period context help explain the report’s coverage. Reports are read on demand; this scope does not include persistent storage or transfer to AI tools.
FROM NEED TO OUTCOME
Treating a channel connection as general analytics permission makes the consent decision unclear. Comparing periods without considering the last returned day or the provider’s time zone can also be misleading.
Grant explicit read access for the required channel and assess only the available metrics in their period context. Check freshness and the last data day before treating empty or incomplete results as a definitive performance outcome.
STEP BY STEP
Select the connected YouTube channel and review the separate Analytics read scope through user and Google consent.
Select start and end dates and review the provider’s reporting-period and time-zone requirements.
Read period totals, daily rows, measurement time and the last available data day together.
INSIDE THE MODULE
Inspect provider-returned views for the selected channel and date range at daily and period levels.
Read watch time as the provider’s estimated-minute metric, without equating it with another measurement.
Read the available period and daily values using the provider’s definition.
Manage Analytics access with separate consent; removing the related YouTube connection also removes this grant.
Read data for the period needed, without assuming a persistent history or AI transfer exists.
IN EVERYDAY WORK
The period and last returned day are visible, and the three supported metrics are examined alongside their daily rows.
Scenarios are illustrative; they are not customer testimonials or measured performance claims.
KNOW WHAT IS INCLUDED
This pilot requires separate activation, an authorized administrator, an eligible workspace and the required provider permissions. A social-account allowance alone does not activate it. Availability is confirmed during setup.
YOUR QUESTIONS
No. Analytics is approved for a specific connected channel through a separate read-only Google permission.
The current scope covers views, estimated minutes watched and average view duration. Revenue and demographics reports are not requested.
