Google Workspace / Calendar and appointment synchronization

Google Calendar integration for Hubz appointments

Manage the relationship between appointment creation, updates and cancellation and the associated calendar event with appropriate Google permissions.

PRODUCT VIEW

See how it works.

Link Hubz appointments to an authorized Google Calendar account with the required permissions. The appointment subject, time and participants are used to prepare the related calendar event. Creation, updates and cancellation consider the relationship between the Hubz record and provider event together; connection or provider problems require separate assessment. Calendar use, appointment profiles, availability definitions and external booking are different parts of the same setup.

FROM NEED TO OUTCOME

Where this helps.

If a CRM appointment becomes disconnected from the person’s real calendar, the team can assess time incorrectly. Editing or canceling a local record alone does not prove that the provider-side result is complete.

WHAT YOU CAN WORK TOWARDS

Associate the appointment with the correct account, profile and calendar record. Review timing and participants, and keep the provider result after changes or cancellation visible as a follow-up matter.

STEP BY STEP

How to use it.

  1. 01

    Prepare the account and profile.

With the relevant person, complete Google Calendar permissions, the user’s appointment profile and required availability settings.

  2. 02

Create the appointment at the correct time.

Review subject, participants and time-zone context before preparing the related Hubz and calendar records.

  3. 03

    Track the change result.

During updates or cancellation, review the provider-event relationship and any error or reassessment requirement.

IN EVERYDAY WORK

What it looks like in practice.

Sales or consulting team

Associating a customer-booked meeting with an authorized calendar account.

The correct account and profile are used, and the team tracks the provider result of later date changes or cancellation.

Scenarios are illustrative; they are not customer testimonials or measured performance claims.

KNOW WHAT IS INCLUDED

Plans, permissions and limits.

Calendar and appointment tools are available across all plans. Connecting Google requires Professional or Business, a configured user profile and the necessary Google permissions.

  • Provider-side event creation is not promised without Google Calendar permission.
  • A calendar connection does not replace the user’s appointment profile and availability setup.
  • Participant-update notifications and provider behavior depend on the relevant operation options.

YOUR QUESTIONS

About this feature.

01Does connecting Google automatically complete the appointment profile?

No. The appointment profile, availability and account are configured separately during setup.

02Is the calendar also checked when an appointment is canceled?

The current workflow handles cancellation in relation to the calendar event. Provider errors or incomplete states are assessed separately.
