Social Studio / Weekly slots and brand management

Save weekly publishing times for each brand

Save a brand's weekday, local time and explicit IANA time zone. Preview the next valid occurrence to use when preparing a post.

PRODUCT VIEW

See how it works.

Save the weekly publishing times you use most often for each brand. An authorized administrator chooses the brand, weekday, local time and time zone, and can archive a slot or reactivate it when eligible. Selecting a time depends on the current brand revision and the slot's own version. Applying it to content only fills the date field; the publishing decision remains separate.

FROM NEED TO OUTCOME

Where this helps.

Without a time zone, the same stated time can mean different publication dates. A change to the brand revision may also require an earlier time preference to be reviewed again.

WHAT YOU CAN WORK TOWARDS

Keep time preferences visible with their brand and time zone, and preview the exact publication time before applying it.

STEP BY STEP

How to use it.

  1. 01

    Define the brand's slot

Select the current brand, weekday, local time and a valid IANA time zone.

  2. 02

    Preview the next occurrence

Choose the saved slot when preparing a post and inspect the next valid occurrence, the local time and its UTC equivalent.

  3. 03

    Apply the date

Transfer the suitable time into the date field. The scheduling step revalidates the saved slot, brand version and exact time.

IN EVERYDAY WORK

What it looks like in practice.

The team works to a target time in another country on a particular weekday.

Save the preference with the brand and IANA time zone, then inspect the exact occurrence for every content item.

KNOW WHAT IS INCLUDED

Plans, permissions and limits.

Included in Professional and Business Social Studio. Managing records requires the relevant administrator role; using them requires current brand access and content permissions.

  • The current limit is 10 active saved slots per brand and 50 per workspace.
  • A saved slot does not create content or start automatic recurring publishing. It only fills an eligible content date.

YOUR QUESTIONS

About this feature.

01Does saving a slot create a post every week?

No. A saved slot helps select the next valid time in content scheduling. It does not create new content, approval or publishing jobs automatically.

02What happens if the brand or time zone changes?

The slot is evaluated against the brand revision and its own version. A brand change may require saving it again against the current revision; scheduling revalidates the exact time zone and UTC instant.
