Social Studio / Bulk content preparation

Import social content from CSV into draft posts

Preview titles and captions from a UTF-8 CSV for the selected brand. Explicit confirmation creates unapproved drafts owned by the content creator.

PRODUCT VIEW

See how it works.

CSV import brings titles and captions prepared in another working document into Social Studio drafts. The file requires title and caption columns; column order and differences in capitalization are supported. The preview shows total, valid and invalid rows, so records are not created without exposing row errors first. Confirmation is tied to the reviewed file and the selected brand's current revision.

FROM NEED TO OUTCOME

Where this helps.

Copying every caption from a content planning spreadsheet takes time. Importing a file without review can hide missing titles, empty captions and mistakes in brand context.

WHAT YOU CAN WORK TOWARDS

Review the file's validation results and turn prepared text into drafts in bulk. Make publishing decisions in the separate steps that follow.

STEP BY STEP

How to use it.

  1. 01

    Select the brand and file

Choose the current brand the content belongs to, then select a UTF-8 CSV containing title and caption fields.

  2. 02

    Preview the rows

Review valid and invalid counts, the displayed rows and the reasons for errors. Refresh the preview if the file or brand changes.

  3. 03

    Confirm draft creation

Explicitly confirm the scope you reviewed. Complete content, media, account selection and publishing preparation separately for each resulting record.

IN EVERYDAY WORK

What it looks like in practice.

Content team

A month's draft titles and captions have been prepared in a CSV working document.

Review the rows and create text records in bulk, then complete visuals and account selection for each content item.

Scenarios are illustrative; they are not customer testimonials or measured performance claims.

KNOW WHAT IS INCLUDED

YOUR QUESTIONS

About this feature.

01Does confirming a CSV publish the posts?

No. Explicit confirmation only creates unapproved drafts owned by the creator. Media, destination accounts, content review and publishing schedules are separate steps.

02What happens if the file or brand changes?

The preview is tied to the reviewed file and brand revision. A changed file, brand or relevant revision requires another preview; earlier confirmation is not transferred to different content.
